AWS metric이 검색 / 추가

환경:  AWS ECS Fargate

아래 doc의 일부 metric을 수집하고 싶은데, 스플렁크 Observability의 Metric Finder 에서 AWS ECS 관련 메트릭이 조회가 되지 않음.

[Solution]

As per the AWS docs you have provided those metrics are part of the ECS/ContainerInsights namespace. Checking the supported AWS namespaces in our docs it looks like it's not part of the default ones https://docs.splunk.com/Observability/gdi/get-data-in/integrations.html#aws-integrations. 

If a specific namespace is not part of the ones which we import by default you can specify it in the AWS integration as a custom one as described in the docs: https://docs.splunk.com/Observability/infrastructure/monitor/aws-infra-monitor.html#specify-and-limit-the-data-and-metadata-to-import - please be aware that metrics from this namespace will be counted as a custom type. 

 

아래 처럼 AWS 연동시 네임스페이스를 추가한다.
